Some Favourites

Found these sites through another blog - Poppytalk
Which I marvel at, its pretty great butttttt
some other great sites you might want to check out are:
http://www.dafont.com/
Here you can search and download heaps of different fonts, ones that don't normally appear on your regular word program. Some of my favourites are ghost town, vintage, loosydings expert, laundromat 1967, CKAS, old typewriter and urban hook-upz. Check em out!

Another website that was discovered through poppy talk is http://www.etsy.com/index.php
its very awesome as it it is like an ebay for handmade stuff, very cool, I have recently made some awesome purchases off there!

my final site is http://shop.uppercasegallery.ca/
THE best stationary shop ever, I am in love, I wanted to buy so many more things but I didn't have enough mula. The mini folders are so cute and the ecleto range is awesome.
Must see for great stationary buys and its canadian!

anyhoo thats all, I shall start studying now ha ha, society and biology next!

The final Count down

HSC in one more sleep.
I wish the HSC wasn't such a process of worry, ever since we popper our little 12 year old heads into high school we have been hit with the HSC, the ultimate make or breaker! But then you suddenly hit year 12 and the teachers go "Now girls, there are other ways of getting what you want besides the HSC" Yes we know there are but doing well in the HSC, does make it a LOT easier it seems.

Speculation- the word sickens me now

Inextricably- Is how the UAI and uni are linked

Caring- is what I wish I was brave enough to not

Board of Studies- or rather Bored of Studies

No matter what tomorrow I will be putting pen to exam booklet and silently screaming into somewhat unfamiliar territory. Opps sorry I forgot about trials, no I'll be silently screaming into relatively known territory but still unprepared.

Warning: Politcal Rant

Oh I would just like to congratulate Mr John Howard on his efforts attempting to disadvantage his highly disapproving 18 year old voters. Howard has decided to place the election in the first week of Schoolies week on the 24th of November. With roughly 75% of 18-24 year olds shown to be in favour of Kevin Rudd in a recent statistic shown on Sydney Morning Herald's website.

I don't know if it's just me but I find that rather interesting, I encourage Schoolies people to absentee vote, don't let Howard use this timing in his advantage. All of our lives we have had Howard as our leader, it's time for a change in government whether its Rudd or not, Howard's past it, it's time for a government 'shift'. We need some who is interested in what young people think, as my dad said the other day, younger people are looking into the future, we aren't just thinking about the right now. Climate issues are sinking into young people minds, prices on home in the future are a big issue, will we be able to own our homes in Sydney? I doubt it at the way the markets going these days.

I don't know much about politics but I do know that I don't like what's happening right now and I want to see what it's like to have a new leader of our nation.

Parliment house was built with land, grass growing over the top so the Prime minister's nation, her/his people could walk over it, symbolising how the PM is controlled by the people and serving us.

Is this happening?
